Did you know that East Carolina Universities Educational Specialist (Ed.S) degree is completely online! This degree sixth year degree provides Level II Administration and Supervision licensure.
What can you do with a sixth year degree? Good question! The Ed.S degree opens the door to central office positions, state and federal educational agencies, as well as a salary increase in the public schools. There is no dissertation that must be written after completion of the program. This is a wonderful alternative to those who desire to further their education beyond the master's degree but have no interest in obtaining a doctorate degree.
I also encourage you to look at other Educational Specialist programs at the following universities:
University of North Carolina at Greensboro
Appalachian State University
Western Carolina University

Thanks for the heads-up on the Ed.S degree. That may definitely be a way to go. Provided we survive the masters program.
Thanks so much for putting this out there. I have been talking about doing this and you answered a couple of questions for me. :) However, I'm going to use it as a stepping stone to Go Further! :)
Thanks for the info! You gave me some insight into the track I had planned on taking.
